Anodising
Is an electrolytic process for producing an oxide coating.It is generally used to give improved surface resistance to wear and corrosion but can also be used as a decorative layer. Morris Graphics has the ability to dye or print into the anodic coating leaving an extremely durable high quality finish that can be used in many applications including nameplates, signage, decorative panels, machined parts and artworks. Morris Graphics offers a standard 10-12 micron finish and a 20 micron finish for additional durability where required.
Chemical Etching
Morris Graphics is Australia's leading provider of chemical and acid etching. We are able to produce etching on panels 1500mm wide by any length. As opposed to engraving, etching leaves a smooth surface finish with no harsh machine marks. We have produced many jobs using our custom built machines that are able to etch images into metals. Our etched finish is available on stainless steel, Aluminium, brass and copper. Other metals can also be etched by Morris Graphics but a material sample is required ensure that it’s compatible with our processing.
